Meet Henrie
Specialist Podiatrist & Founder of Happy Feet Hub
BSc (Hons) Podiatry | HCPC-Registered | Member of the Royal College of Podiatry
Hello, I’m Henrie — founder of Happy Feet Hub — and I’m passionate about helping people feel confident, comfortable, and pain-free on their feet. I’m an HCPC-registered Specialist Podiatrist with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from the University of Salford. Since qualifying in 2021, I’ve dedicated my career to improving foot and ankle health across both NHS and private settings, working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
My areas of expertise include musculoskeletal (MSK) podiatry, advanced wound care, and diabetic foot health. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside orthopaedic and vascular surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams within the Northern Care Alliance in Salford and the Foot and Ankle Surgery Department at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This experience has given me a strong understanding of complex foot conditions and how best to support patients at every stage of their care.
At Happy Feet Hub, we offer a comprehensive range of treatments — from general foot care, nail surgery, fungal therapy, verruca treatment, and orthotic fitting to specialist care for conditions such as diabetic foot complications, arthritis, flat feet, metatarsalgia, Morton’s neuroma, hammer toes, and more. Our goal is always to provide personalised care tailored to each patient’s needs and lifestyle.
We are committed to staying up to date with the latest research, participating in professional training and events, and continually expanding our knowledge. We also work independently within GP practices, collaborating closely with doctors to request tests, review results, carry out vascular assessments, and support patients in understanding their wider health and wellbeing.
My Story – Why I Care So Deeply
My journey into podiatry is deeply personal. In 2000, I was involved in an accident that left me with a severely broken ankle and years of ongoing pain. I was told I might never walk properly again. But thanks to the dedication of an incredible podiatrist — who listened, advocated for me, and guided my care through surgery and rehabilitation — I regained my mobility and quality of life.
That experience changed everything. It showed me how powerful podiatry can be in transforming someone’s health, confidence, and independence. As a child, I also benefited from podiatry due to gait problems — and those early experiences inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others in the same way I was helped.
It’s a true honour to promote awareness of podiatry within the African-British community, a community I’m proud to be part of. Many people don’t realise just how much a podiatrist can do beyond what a GP can offer — and that’s why I created Happy Feet Hub: to make these vital services accessible, inclusive, and empowering, and to show people they don’t have to live with pain or discomfort.
My Promise to You
At Happy Feet Hub, my philosophy is simple: “Happy Feet = Happy Life.”
I’m here to listen without judgment, explain things clearly, and support you every step of the way — whether you’re living with a long-term condition, recovering from an injury, managing diabetes, or simply want to feel more comfortable in your daily life.
My mission is to help you move with confidence, live without pain, and enjoy all the things you love — because happy feet mean a happier, healthier you.
